Intrepid tour group in Belize City. The city is known for being very dangerous; I wouldn't want to walk around by myself. There was a lot of trash everywhere. I don't think the Belizians understand that Styrofoam and plastic doesn't break down. The whole city could use a coat of paint and a city-wide clean-up. It's a shame since it's on the coast and has the potential to be very beautiful. Tour group included: myself and friend Angie, 1 German, and the remaining 6 were Canadian. Our tour guide, Emilio, was Guatemalan.
