Coldplay

Went to the Coldplay concert at Phillips arena.  They gave out xylobands to everyone upon entry.  They controlled when the bands lit up, and it created a very cool effect.

Virginia Highlands Summerfest

I went to the Virginia Highlands Summerfest.  As usual, There were a few artists I was impressed with. I could see these pictures selling well for bachelor pads but unique none the less.  Since I love astronomy, I thought these pictures were fantastic.  And finally, my favorite of the festival:

Ron Roland - it was very impressive to see how the paint was applied up close. 

New York Botanical Garden

Visited the New York Botanical Garden where the roses were 98% in bloom, beautiful.  There was also a special Monet-inspired exhibit.

Museum of the Moving Image

Visited the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, NY.

Art Festival

Saw this car in the parking lot at a art festival in Chastain Park.
